We went there for dinner looking for Korean on the Friday before Memorial Day, we were the second group there. The setup is tables with grills at the center of the table. The place was clean with diner ambiance
Wifey did not want to grill at the table, she just washed her hair. We ordered the Beef Short Ribs and Kimchi Stew. The dishes came with rice and banchan, the Kimchi was outstanding. The Ribs were very tasty and grilled well. The Stew had tofu, pork belly and Napa cabbage with a good Kimchi flavor. Service was helpful, attentive and fast.
Portions were perfect for us and it was a good value, if they called the ribs: Galbi they could charge $10 more like other places. A great K find in SV, very repeatable.
While the restaurant has changed from an AYCE to a combo style Korean BBQ, it's still a wonderful place to fill your KBBQ cravings! Portions for combos are way enough to instill a food coma, and the servers are all friendly and very attentive. The pig's feet (my personal favorite) has still stayed the same, and the sizing is still enormous. And you can't go wrong with the fish roe soup which is the perfect cure to a hangover. The ambience and music has made this place one of my most visited places (especially to drink with friends), and feels like home really. And with the new late night hours, it's perfect for a drop in after a wild night! It's understandable that people dearly miss the AYCE from this restaurant, but don't let a combo pricing deter you from giving the place a try! Your belly won't regret it I'll tell you that.
